On average, the rent in Turkey is 85.18 percent smaller than in the United States. In Turkey, market prices are 25.13 percent higher than in India (without rent). Market prices in Turkey are 21.74 percent higher than in India, including leases.

Rent rates are 5.62 percent higher in Turkey than in India.

In Turkey, restaurant prices are 12.70 percent higher than in India. Grocery prices are 7.02 percent higher in Turkey than in India. Turkey’s local buying power is 25.01 percent lower than India’s.

When we talk about living in Turkey, we need to think about all aspects of life that require us to live in either Turkey or other countries, such as health status, transportation, utilities, housing and rentals in Turkey, jobs and average monthly salaries for those who come to Turkey.

It varies depending on the city in which you want to live, in terms of accommodation and rent. Renting an apartment in Istanbul is the most expensive city of all Turkish cities in terms of costs, but it depends, of course, on the monthly salaries received by a resident in any city of his choosing, and it also varies from city to city. The lower the salaries of the working force, the lower the houses and homes, and vice versa.

Cost of living in Turkey

Cost Of Food:

The primary lunchtime menu, including a drink in the business district, can cost up to 34TL. The combo meal cost in fast food restaurants (Big Mac Meal or similar) starts from 22TL.

Pazar weekly is open on a weekly basis to display different goods and food commodities. School Fees in Turkey:

Private colleges have set their fees, and up to $20,000 is paid. Tuition fees for study programs in English are typically more costly at public universities, ranging from $600-1500 a year, whereas the same courses are about $240-750 in Turkish.

How much money does a person who works in Turkey make?
Usually, a person employed in Turkey earns around 7,830 TRY per month. Wages range from TRY 1,980 (lowest average) to TRY 35,000 (highest average, the actual maximum salary is higher).

This is the monthly average wage that covers lodging, transportation, and other benefits. Among various occupations, salaries vary dramatically.

Cost of Living in Ankara and in Istanbul

Ankara is the capital of Turkey, but since it is a place where you can find a lot of items at a variety of prices, this does not scare you. Where the monthly transport ticket price is $51.68, while the taxi tariff is $0.99 per kilometer, and the minute per cell phone is $0.21.

As a standard of living, the city of Istanbul is one of the most expensive cities in the world, where a family of four people requires $1,800 per month to live a medium-sized life, while a student needs $600 per month.

Price Index:

To calculate each city’s Price Index value, we start by assigning a value of 100 to a central reference city (that happens to be Prague). Once the reference point has been established, the Price Index value of every other city in the database is calculated by comparing their cost of living to Prague’s cost.

Therefore, if a city has a Price Index of 134, living there is 34% more expensive than living in Prague.

Transportation Charges:

The purchasing of a KGS magnetic card, equivalent to a Visa card, in categories 20 – 25 to 30 TL, can be bought from the Bank of Agriculture or from any kiosk prior to crossing the fence. For the selling of these cards, there are carts 500 meters before the gate.

OGS is a small automatic transmitter mounted in the car that you can cross without stopping at your speed with dedicated gates of the same name. There is another payment scheme.

Istanbul kart E-wallet similar to the cards used in European countries – The price of the fare is deducted from boarding the bus or demolish put on the computer near the driver. Sold outside bus stations at kiosks.
