How to get a job in Dubai for Indians?

So, where should you begin if you’re ready to enter Dubai’s burgeoning job market? This book will walk you through the most crucial processes and information, such as visas, sponsorship, and job hunting.

Obtain the appropriate visa.

You’ll need a work visa if you want to work in Dubai. The good news is that if you work for a Dubai company, they’re rather simple to obtain.

Because you’ll need a work visa, it’s best to travel to Dubai after you’ve been offered a job. However, you can enter the emirate on a visiting or tourist visa to conduct your job hunt and then change your visa status once you’ve found work.

Make sure you have your health and labour cards.

You must submit your medical records, passport copies, photo, employment offer letter, and visa application to the Department of Health and Medical Services while your work visa is being processed. A blood test will be required to rule out infections such as HIV, Hepatitis C, and tuberculosis. The UAE now prohibits foreign carriers of various diseases from residing in the emirates. After passing all of the exams, you will be given a health card, which is required for all foreign workers in Dubai.

You’ll also require a labour card, which requires you to transmit your passport photo, job contract, entry visa, medical documents, and your employer’s labour licence to the Department of Labor.

Understand the work market.

While the emirate’s overall financial condition is improving, not all job markets have recovered. However, there are some sectors that are expected to grow in anticipation of Dubai’s hosting duties at Expo 2020. The following are some markets where job seekers could find success:

  • Legalese
  • Finance
  • marketing
  • Purchasing
  • IT
  • Hospitality is a term that is used to describe
  • Telecommunications
  • Tourism is a growing industry.

Many of the aforementioned industries are doing so well that salaries are likely to climb much further. According to LinkedIn’s MENA Recruiting Trends 2017 study, job seekers wishing to work in the following roles within those sectors have the best odds of finding work in Dubai:

Most travelers to Dubai don’t need to apply for a visa in advance; one will be given to you when you arrive.
